Pair of Georgian Silver Berry Spoons 1782

Description

This superb pair of GEORGE III SILVER BERRY SPOONS was made by Richard Crossley in 1782.

The Spoons have gilded, fluted bowls with a fabulous, embossed decoration of apples and a pineapple. Further engraved foliate decoration to the handle, make these spoons exceptional.

These stunning Silver Berry Spoons are in fabulous condition despite being almost 240 years old.

Dimensions:

Length – 8.25” (210mm)

Weight – 134gm / 4.30ozt (Combined Weight)

Condition:

All of the items we have for sale are antiques i.e. they are more than 100 years old (unless otherwise stated) and have therefore been used and preloved. As such they will have age and usage related marks. Where an item has minor faults or imperfections these are noted below:
