The cupboard doors open to reveal a fixed shelved interior, giving two spacious areas. The bottom section also has a two door cupboard which opens to reveal a fixed shelved interior. All the cupboard doors are fitted with brass knobs which turn to unlock the cupboards. Inside each cupboard are latches to secure the doors closed. The pine housekeeper’s cupboard comes apart in two sections, for ease of transport.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the front (pictured) and staining to the inside. There is some loss to the top cupboard (pictured), however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the piece. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the back (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique pine housekeeper’s cupboard is structurally sound and solid. Overall, a fine example.
