Description

This delightful George III solid silver caddy spoon is dated Birmingham 1817 and was made by the prolific silversmith Joseph Willmore. The plain ovoid bowl with King's pattern design handle. The back fully hallmarked.

IW for Joseph Willmore

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "t" for 1817.

Duty Mark.

Lion Passant.

Condition:

Very good.

No repairs.

Length: 9cm / 3.4 inches

Bowl: 3.5cm x 4cm / 1.3 inches x 1.5 inches.
