Stunning Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Compact by Crisford & Norris, Birmingham 1922

Description

This delightful silver and guilloche compact was made in Birmingham in 1922 by the renowned silversmiths Crisford & Norris. Of circular form, the front decorated with a stunning green colour enamel cabochon. The hinged lid opening to reveal a pale gilt interior.

Attachment ring for a chain.

Hallmarks:

C&N for Crisford & Norris.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "x" for 1922.

Condition:

Good

Enamel in very good conditIon.

Strong hinge.

Good clear hallmarks.

Mirror in good condition.

Back with some dimples, commensurate with age
