Description

A vintage handmade country house cast iron fire spark guard c1930. The spark guard has a strong but elegant black cast iron oblong frame, handle and feet. The black metal mesh guard is in excellent condition and intact. The single decorative item is gilt metal flower or sun with eight folding petals and a central button. It measure 9cm diameter. Handmade skilfully so that the fire can be seen through the guard.
