Charnwood Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This clock is mounted on a mahogany presentation plinth with brass plaque dated June 30th 1897. (This plinth with plaque gives provenance to the clock but could easily be removed if required. The plinth simply unscrews from the feet of the clock. The clock was likely newly made when presented to Millie David in 1897.)
The case is in excellent condition & the movement is in good working order.
