Antique Victorian Carved Oak Banjo Barometer By Maple & Co

£475    $633    €554
A wonderful antique Victorian banjo barometer in carved solid oak. This was made in London by Maple and Co, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of amazing quality, beautifully designed and it appears to be in excellent condition for its age. We are no experts in barometers so can’t guarantee it, but it does appear to be in good working order.

The frame is beautifully carved and is in excellent condition, with no damage to be seen. There is some very minor surface wear to the dial and brass rim around the dial. We have just given it a light clean, it could probably be cleaned up even more.

Width – 10 inches , 26 cm
