This is a fine quality Spanish oak kitchen table, also known as a “refectory” table, from the Basque region of Spain, with a bleached oak finish, which extends to a length of 8ft 9”, to seat 10 people, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. The oak refectory table comprises an oak parquet boarded top, with two solid oak pull-out leaves. The leaves slide under the table when not in use, which reduces the length of the table to 5ft 7½”. The Spanish oak kitchen table is raised on stunning ornate lyre shaped legs, which are united by a decorative curling wrought iron stretcher. The tabletop is of wonderful character, boasting a lovely mellow colour & grain configuration. The table seats up to 10 people comfortably when fully extended. It is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath and is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. The Spanish oak kitchen table displays a lovely mellow bleached oak finish.
The oak refectory table legs and wrought iron stretchers can be dismantled for low-cost international shipping or easy access through narrow door ways.
