A charming Chest of drawers.
This lovely chest features a simple moulded top with curved front corners and stands proudly on a simple plinth which is raised on tulip turned legs. This characterful Antique chest features 5 large descending 2 over 3 finely dovetailed drawers complete with its original turned knobs. The drawers are in great condition, smoothly operating with little to no drawer wear and are clean inside. Having been fully restored, the drawer runners have been repaired and rebuilt as necessary so this chest has no drawer drop when opened and will be good for many more years of use.
The chest has a simple yet attractive style and is finished in a slightly tinted antique Pine wax giving a beautiful colour. This chest of drawers has been carefully cleaned and waxed, maintaining patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen from the wax.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
