A demi-lune console table is a semi-circular accent table designed to stand flat against a wall. Popularised during the Neoclassical, Georgian, and Regency periods, these tables served both decorative and functional purposes in formal reception rooms and hallways.

Authentic 19th-century pieces utilized West Indian or East Indian satinwood veneers, frequently detailed with contrasting wood inlays such as rosewood, tulipwood, or boxwood. The interior structure or carcase was typically constructed from pine, oak, or mahogany.
