This is an Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver porringer bowl. It was assayed in London in 1903 and made by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd.
It is of rounded circular form upon a moulded foot rim. The single bifurcated handle formed of a sprig of three three-leaf clovers, the sides of the bowl are applied with similar decoration. It is fully marked to the side, and has the retailer''s marks to the underside ''Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd 112. Regent. St.''.
The hallmarks are a little bit rubbed but otherwise it is in good order with wear commensurate to the item''s age.
It weighs 231 grams / 7.43 ozt
