Pair Of Elegant Silver Candlesticks

£995    $1,332    €1,165
This is a lovely pair of solid sterling silver candlesticks, dating from the beginning of the Edwardian era.

They are clearly hallmarked on the base for Sheffield 1902, with the maker''s mark of Hawksworth, Eyre & Co.

They have a striking hexagonal form with a tapering facetted body. The removable sconces have beaded rims which are echoed in a small beaded circlet at the base of the body and just above the narrowest part of the neck. There are initials on the weighted bases, which have a good covering of green felt to protect the furniture upon which they are placed. The rim under one of the sconces is slightly misshapen, but otherwise they are in a fantastic condition given their age.

Dimensions:

Height: 25cm

Base Width: 13cm at widest point.
