Victorian Mahogany Two Seat Sofa

19th century
Description

A Victorian mahogany two seat parlour or bedroom sofa, circa 1890, the shaped and upholstered back with pierced foliate carved cresting, the shaped arms with acanthus carved fronts and with a sprung seat, raised on cabriole supports terminating in brass and porcelain castors.

The frame is in good , solid condition, the sprung seat needs some attention and fabric is dirty.

I can arrange re-upholstery and supply fabric - please contact me for details.
