Rare Modernist Late 19th Century Silver Plated Toast Rack

Description

This fine silver plated toast rack dates to c1880-1900. This modernist piece (in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser), has a rubbed makers mark and is marked for 'Hard Soldered'. A great piece of design

The piece is in good condition. The plating is in good order with a couple of stubborn marks and some wear to the bases of the feet. A couple of struts are very slightly misaligned. In good condition for its age.
