A great provenance with a label showing where it had been in Bristol. Circa 1860.

The Meyer family of clockmakers are recorded in A J Moores'' 'Watch and Clockmakers of Bristol' book as working from 1815-1886. They worked at Redcliffe Street and Barrs Street. The label states that it was at Arnos Court Convent in 1863.
