Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Victorian enamel and pearl rings, particularly from the late 19th century, feature intricate metalwork combined with colourful enamel surrounds and central gemstone or pearl clusters. They frequently incorporate floral or geometric target designs that reflect the decorative arts of the era.

Late Victorian cluster rings typically utilise high-carat yellow gold or silver-topped gold settings, decorated with vitreous enamel, natural seed or blister pearls, and hand-cut diamonds such as old mine or European cut stones.

Authentic Victorian enamel rings display hand-cut gemstones with distinct facets, hand-applied vitreous enamel detailing, and specific historical hallmarking or makers marks on the inner band. The metal setting usually shows subtle signs of hand-finishing and age-appropriate wear.

A Victorian enamel ring functions as a distinct statement piece that pairs well with minimalist contemporary attire or tailored evening wear. It can be worn individually on the index or middle finger, or stacked alongside plain gold bands to highlight its detailed artwork.

Antique pearl and enamel rings require careful handling; avoid contact with water, perfumes, and chemical solvents which can degrade the enamel or erode organic pearls. Clean gently with a soft dry cloth and store separately in a fabric-lined box to prevent surface abrasion.
