Fine quality pair of swedish gothenburg gilt armchairs circa 1870. Slipper like shaped backs, the shaped arms supported by ebonized egyptian influenced mounts. Ebonized leaves flow down the arms and around the freize. Standing on front fluted legs and tapering legs to the reverse. Silk upholstery is in very good order and ready to adorn the home.
Ideal for a pair of statement entrance chairs.
Some expected gilt rubbing and losses.
