Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco ring design, originating in the 1920s and 1930s, is characterised by geometric shapes, clean lines, and contrasting gemstone combinations. Rings from this era frequently feature calibre-cut stones arranged in precise, symmetrical patterns like clusters, targets, or plaques.

Art Deco jewellers primarily worked with platinum and 18ct white gold to create bright, durable settings that emphasised stone brilliance. Rubies and diamonds were commonly set together, often featuring channel-set accent stones and millegrain detailing along the metal edges.

Authentic pieces generally display period-specific craftsmanship, including hand-cut diamonds like old European or single cuts, fine millegrain decorative edges, and precise geometric mountings. Checking for era-appropriate hallmarks and evidence of hand-carved galleries also aids in identification.

An Art Deco gemstone ring serves as a focal accessory that pairs well with minimalist contemporary tailoring, evening wear, or casual denim styling. The bold geometric structure allows the ring to be worn as a standalone statement piece on the index or middle finger.

Clean the ring using warm water, a mild soap solution, and a soft-bristled brush to gently remove accumulated dirt around stone settings. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, particularly if the gemstones contain natural inclusions, and schedule periodic checks with a jeweller to ensure claws remain secure.
