Gents Tissot Visodate Seastar PR516 wrist watch, 1969.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 782-1 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 11,546,227 which dates it back to 1969.

The watch measures 34mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition, just the odd minor mark but nothing serious. The inside of the case back is signed with the Tissot name and logo, and the winding crown is signed too.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and an early form of quickset date (where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 10 past midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
