Here we have a fine quality apothecary chest by Savory & Moore and constructed in mahogany with brass fittings, open opening the lid the top layer contains 12 original bottles with labels, contents and stoppers and the inside of the lid is plushly fitted with original fabric and the shop details, the lower drawer is fitted with six original bottles, contents and stoppers and there is also a set of weighing scales with weights a glass mortar and pestle and a cased measuring vial, the chest has it''s original working lock and key which has a small ivorine tag with ''medicine chest'' written on it.
This is a fine example and would grace and home or collection.
