A rare and collectable late 16thc early 17thc silver ''lace makers'' needle holder...this beautiful example is engraved with wrigglework patterns and flowers....plus rather elaborate geometric shapes to the base....also the holder is initialed J W and what looks like a date with a ''five'' in it...I cannot make out all of it....it is in very good condition for a domestic item.
