Art Nouveau Silver Stamp Case by Crisford & Norris, Birmingham 1903

Description

This delightful solid silver envelope stamp case was made by the prolific Crisford & Norris and is dated Birmingham 1903. Modelled as an envelope, the cover embossed with the lettering "stamps" under sprig decorations. The back and sides plain. The top with ring attachment.

Hallmarks:

C&N for Crisford & Norris

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "d" for 1903.

Lion passant.

Dimensions:

2.5cm x 3 cm.

Condition:

Good.

A couple of dings on the upper section.

Good hinge.

No repairs.

Postage:
