Juliette Cambier (1879 - 1963) was a Belgian painter and married to the painter Louis Cambier.
Here she receives lessons from M. Denis, P. Sérusier and E. Vuillard. In 1913 she made her debut with the artists' association 'Libre Esthétique'. During the First World War, she and her husband stayed in the south of France where she was in contact with Matisse, Renoir and Signac. she is known for a paintings of floral still lifes, landscapes and portraits of girls. Her work looks fresh, impressionistic and leans towards Fauvism. Her work is represented in the Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the Museum in Elsène. Info: Lexicon Pieter A. Scheen
