Description

Gents 1940s Art Deco wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement, probably by the Swiss movement manufacturer Fonetainemelon, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 26mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs. The case is chromium plated, there is some surface marking, mainly to the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The dial is in its original finish with a textured sunburst pattern, blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
