A carved oak bench dating to the early 20th century, circa 1910.The carved details really catch the eye and the seat lid opens to provide some useful storage space. Commonly in hallways and used for storing shoes. The timber has a lovely patina and the sides have the typical art nouveau heart shaped designs.
