Beeches Vintage has dated this Edwardian Silver Christening Cup to the Edwardian era.
It was made by Edward Souter Barnsley and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1907.

The cup is made of Sterling Silver and has shiny sides and a rim around the top and bottom. The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are on the side near the handle. On the from it has the initials ACH elaborately engraved.
There are a couple of small dents - one to the side and two to the base but these are not particularly visible.
It’s quite heavy weighing 113.4g.
The depth of the cup is 7cm (2 3/4 inches).
