Antique Cast Iron Château Door Knocker
 
A large and impressive door knocker originating from a château in Montpellier, South West France.
 
Cast in iron with a figure head in the centre with a large swinging arm below, it comes with a separate striking pin.
 
In very good condition with its original aged deep green paint, this piece would make a statement on any good sized door.
 
To the rear are two fixing bolts.
