A charming chest of drawers in the classic Victorian design.
This previously painted chest has been given a new lease of life being carefully stripped back to bare wood by hand and finished in clear wax. This simplistic chest features 5 descending drawers, with a hidden shaped front drawer to the top. The wash-stand chest has shaped tray top rear and side up-stands which we love complemented by simple turned knobs and stands proudly on a simple plinth which is raised on turned bun feet. The dovetailed drawers are in great condition, smoothly operating with little to no drawer wear or drop and are clean inside .
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
