Sussex Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The frames are strong and sturdy and the upholstery is in very good condition (note one yellow based and one green) of course you may wish to re upholster both in your own fabric. The internal upholstered is in excellent condition as are the strings and webbing.
All in all a delightful pair of chairs that are very good quality indeed and they don’t come much better than these.
