Edwardian Antique Ladies Writing Desk

A well presented antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany ladies writing desk. The antique desk has a leather inset writing surface with a pen and inkwell holder. To the top is a central stationery compartment flanked by a decorative gallery back. Below the writing surface are two small drawers each with brass drop handles. The ladies writing desk is raised on tapering square legs with decorative inlay throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the top, further scratches to the sides. There are chips to the veneer in places (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. There are patch repairs to the sides (pictured) also minor losses to the inlay (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the front (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.The antique ladies writing desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
