The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1937 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham based case maker, the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons manufactured cases for various watch manufacturers. The case has some unevenness to the back but otherwise is in good condition.

The acrylic lens has light marking but is very acceptable.
The enamel dial has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of minor marks to the dial.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
