Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
To the right-hand side is a bank of four fitted drawers, each with two wooden knobs (the left-hand side being dummy drawers). Above the functioning drawers is a pull out inkwell compartment that opens alongside the writing surface. The antique Davenport desk has decorative scrolled front corbels and is raised on four castors. A good example with lovely grain throughout.

DIMENSIONS:

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the sides and front. Also, splits to the writing surface and fading to the top (pictured). There are minor losses to the veneer in places (pictured), however, this doesn't affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique rosewood Davenport desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
