London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
This mahogany Hall table is a lovely size and very versatile.
The table is presented in excellent order throughout.
The table benefits from an elongated octagonal top. The clipped corners give the table an extra dimension and add to the interest of the piece.

The supporting base displays wonderfully turned components. The fabulously turned legs are united at each end of the table with a well turned stretcher. These stretchers are themselves joined by a matching centre bar. The effect is one of robustness and elegance. The legs terminate with china castors.

Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. The table is well constructed and very solid. The mahogany displays very well. It is rare to find an example in this order.
