Exceptional Art Deco Wardrobe

1920 - 1940
Description

An exceptional Art Deco Wardrobe by Bath Cabinet Makers and attributed to their top designer, Charles A. Richter. Made from satinwood and macassar ebony to the plinth, and walnut and maple to the circular decorative detailing. With quality silvered handles and hinges, designed by the company itself. The two central doors open to reveal a hanging rail with attached hooks and a further seven hooks attached to the back panel. The left door opens to reveal three pull out slides holding eight hooks and two chrome bars to the bottom. The right hand door opens to reveal seven solid walnut pullout drawers.

The reference number stamped to the back, the BCM’s disc to the internal central left door and the right door with the label of the retailer, Woodfield Brothers of Hill Street Birmingham.

This forms part of a seven piece bedroom suite.

All our furniture is professionally polished and restored where necessary. Our restorer has over 40 years of furniture restoration experience including 15 years living at Windsor Castle whilst working for the Royal household, so comes highly recommended!
