Description

A handsome antique Georgian side cabinet with drawer in figured mahogany dating from circa 1800 converted from a commode. Featuring a twin door cupboard over a single drawer with brass drop handles. It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front, with attractive drop handles and stands on shaped bracket feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a side cabinet with drawer at some point. A high quality piece it would make a lovely side cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Good colour and patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a side cabinet.
