and Pat Feb 23 1875 and comes complete with it's original high quality brown leather hand stitched case that has 2 leather straps and a leather carrying handle. These horns rarely come with their fitted cases and this one is in nice condition with a wonderful patina.

Coaching horns were used in the late 19th century and early 20th century on the London to Oxford mail coach and on coaches pulled by four horses.

Dimensions of horn: Length: 116 cm (45 1/2").
Condition: Excellent antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual bumps and bruises as you would expect from a horn of this age. Case is nice and sound, usable and has a wonderful patina.
