Rarely found and highly sought-after ice bucket in English Oak in the form of a coopered bucket bound with silverplated banding with quality screwed construction.
The interior is lucky enough to have retained it''s original creamware liner, and without damage, quite miraculous. There is a silver plated drainer which fits in the bottom and allows water to drain to the bottom.
The underside is fully marked for the well renowned silversmith, Atkin Brothers.
A really super and very usable piece of antique barware in excellent condition. Rim diameter: 5 1/4'', stands 5'' excluding swing handle or 8'' to top of handle.
