Victorian Silver Sliced-cut Glass Scent Bottle by Sampson Mordan, London 1891

Description

This unusual Victorian sliced-cut glass scent bottle was made by the renowned Sampson Mordan and is dated London 1891. The elegant salmon pink glass body sliced-cut in an hexagonal shape. The hinged silver lid with gilt interior opening to reveal the original clear glass stopper.

SM&Co for Sampson Mordan & Co.

London Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "Q" for 1891.

Dimensions:

Height: 6.5cm / 2.4 inches.

Diameter at widest: 4 cm / 1.4 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

No chips or cracks.
