Antique Victorian Silver and Agate Sovereign Holder, 1897

Description

A very rare antique Victorian silver and agate sovereign holder. Made in Birmingham in 1897 by J. Fraser. It has a full set of hallmarks on the back as well as several part marks on the inside. There are 9 beautifully cut agates on the lid, the spring inside is strong and there is a suspension ring. It is in excellent condition with no damage. A really good collector's piece.
