Presenting a fabulously late Indian 19th or early 20th century spice cabinet.
Beautifully painted with colourful characters, the front elevation lowers to reveal a number of wooden drawers, one with a hidden compartment. The full drawer at the top disuised divided into three drawers; the two sides (bottom and middle) are single drawers, and the middle (lower and middle) are one (this houses the hidden compartment)
It is an interesting mini-cabinet, circa 1880–1900, with strong influences.
