A splendid French pressed burr wood snuff box of circular form beautifully decorated with a busy town square scene entitled ‘Rejouissance Flamande’ (Flemish rejoicing) c.1820, finished with turned decoration on the underside. Apart from some very minor nibbles and splitting around the edges this snuff box is in excellent condition measuring 3 ½ inches in diameter.
