A fine quality late 19th century inlaid mahogany bookcase of generous proportions. Whilst not marked, we are of the opinion that this bookcase can be firmly attributed to Edwards and Roberts of London. Of break-fronted form and very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. Decorated with profuse inlaid detailing throughout including garlands, floral swags, neo-classical urns and harebells. With 3 glazed doors which open to access interiors with adjustable shelving. Below are 3 drawers. All drawers and doors are lockable (keys supplied). This handsome and impressive bookcase offers capacious display space and is offered for sale in excellent condition, with a rich colour and patina.
