A Fine Quality Edwards and Roberts Marquetry Inlaid Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality Edwards and Roberts marquetry inlaid cabinet. The upper section having a broken swan neck cornice with marquetry inlay and dentil mouldings, with similar marquetry to the frieze. Having twin glazed doors with fine quality carved glazing bars and opening to reveal a twin shelved interior. The lower section of serpentine outline with further fine quality marquetry and pen work inlay and having two serpentine oak and mahogany lined drawers, one bearing the Edwards and Roberts label. Raised on square tapering supports with spade feet and united by a shaped under tier. English circa 1900

Dimensions: 36" wide x 20" deep x 82.5" high
