Welsh Antique Longcase Clock with Moonphase by M. Harris of Swansea

Description

A good Welsh mahogany antique longcase/grandfather clock.

The 8 day duration movement striking the hours on a bell. The arched white dial with convex chapter ring and showing seconds, date and moonphase feature to the arch. The mahogany case with boxwood and marquetry inlay. The trunk door flanked by spiral columns with brass Corinthian capitals. The hood with brass capped angle pillars and broken arch top with three brass eagle finials. Height: 7'4"
