This stylish silver plated French wine or Champagne cooler which dates from c1930 is made by top French silversmith St Medard and is marked to the base with the maker's details.

This high quality silver plated cooler is a large size, has two fancy side handles, wavy top, sits on a raised foot and is a nice heavy weight.

A very nice piece of usable vintage French barware with a nice clean interior so will make a very nice addition to a home bar.

Marked: Maker's mark for St Medard.

Dimensions: Diameter including side handles: 28 cm (11"). Diameter: 24 cm (9 1/2"). Height: 24 cm (9 1/2").

Weight: 1682 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only light surface scratches from light use. The inside is nice and clean.
