Description

The watch has a calibre 1406U hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Eterna and it has the serial number 5,048,726 which dates it back to 1964.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel, it has general light surface marks but is very acceptable. The inside of the case back is signed Eterna Watch Co.

The lens has a couple of light scratches, barely visible to the naked eye.

The signed dial has been professionally re-finished at some stage, and now looks lovely. Original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. There is the merest hint of an indentation at number 2 but it’s very insignificant.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
