These desks acted as safes in the days of candlelight, the rich and famous secreted their valuables in the many secret spaces.
It is 97cms h 82cms w and 56cms deep
The colour is rich and warm and the brass handles are also original.. It is finished with wide "herringbone" banding around each drawer and the fall.
