Exhibition Quality Victorian Inlaid Antique Display Cabinet / Bookcase

This Spectacular 19th Century Exhibition Quality Victorian Inlaid Antique Display Cabinet / Bookcase dates from ca. 1880 and is almost certainly by Maple & Co. It has a moulded cornice above an inlaid frieze and decorative moulded edge. This sits above two glazed doors with quality brass handle, key with working lock and two inlaid lower panels. The interior has four fabric lined shelves. This fine antique inlaid cabinet stands on a moulded plinth and has elegant turned Corinthian columns down either side. The Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finish.
