Fine 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Wine Cooler

Description

This fine Old Sheffield Plated wine cooler dates from c1780-1800. Bearing no makers mark, but tinned to the base and interior. With a removable liner and ring. Crested with a dog holding a crown to the body and ring and with a Coat of Arms to the front.

In good condition with a small ripple to the front. Some copper bleed to raised edges and engraving and slight surface wear.

Weight approx 1.6kg.
