The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Rotary wings logo.
The case is rolled gold and it is in good condition with just light surface marks, nothing too detrimental at all. The inside of the case has the SD mark for Sylvain Dreyfuss.

Rotary Watches Ltd was established at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Moise Dreyfuss in 1895. By the 1920s family members Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss began importing Rotary watches to Britain, which was to become the company's most successful market.

The dial has minor marking if you look very closely, but looks absolutely fine when the watch is being worn.
The dial is in its original finish with original hands (the infill has been removed over the years). The inner red 24 hour numerals are a nice feature which we don’t see very often on Art Deco watches.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
